Springe to the recipe
Creamy, lively and full of brave taste, that Blandics cheese dressing is the perfect way to increase salads, sandwiches and dips.
Block cheese may compensate for some, but it is also full of rich, complex flavors that many people love. And if it is mixed into a creamy dressing, it becomes a velvety smooth load that can bring your salads and sandwiches to the next level. Traditionally made from blue cheese, mayonnaise and either buttermilk, sour cream or Greek yogurt, the dream dressing of this milk lover is both spicy and heartily. The best of everything is that it only takes 10 minutes to whip and last for days in the fridge.
The dressing itself achieved some of the earliest known recipes for something that appears to this dressing in Fannie Farmer in the early 20th century in the USA with one of the earliest known recipes Boston Kochschule cookbook 1918. However, the exact origins remain a little secret.
When I tried for the first time with a blue cheese cheese dressing, I was really surprised. I thought I would hate it, but it turns out that the shape gives him this characteristic fragrant, Pican taste. It is smooth, kitschy and exactly the right amount of sharp – perfect to spice up every salad. Regardless of whether you beat it on butter salad, kale or a classic iceberg -wedge, this decadent dressing does everything better.
Is blue cheese healthy?
This blue cheese dressing contains ingredients that provide calcium and protein. However, it is also rich in fat and sodium and may not fit into every diet. Fortunately, you don’t need much of it to give your salads a tasteful thrust. If sugar is your concern, simply choose unsweetened yogurt and Mayo if you create it from scratch.
The science behind blue cheese cheese
Block cheese gets its typical blue-green veins from a special shape desk Penicillium Roqueforti or Penicillium Glaucum. These shapes are completely safe to eat and actually improve the taste and texture of the cheese. The process begins with the introduction of the shape in the cheese, followed by the cheese with stainless steel rods, to create an open texture for the growth of the form. The subsequent aging process creates the pronounced marble, a sharp taste and the sharp aroma of blue cheese.
