Curry tuna salad – curry addicted to

Here is a simple, faster and healthy curry tuna salad. This can easily be converted into a tuna salad -sandwich or a wrap.

One of my quick lunch meals was always a good old -fashioned tuna salad -sandwich. It is difficult to beat doses tuna with Mayo between two bread slices.

When I went gluten-free, I had to give a time on tuna salad sandwiches to get them, and if you try to eat a bowl of tuna with Mayo, it’s just not as tasty as a tuna salad sandwich.

So the idea for this tuna salad was to keep it easy, but interesting enough to taste good in order to become an alternative to a tuna salad sandwich.

So the hunt … a salad with tuna. So if I only put the tuna and mayo over this salad, it was something that was not true. It was okay, but still not even close. I think it could be seen as a tuna salad in nature, it was simply not the case. Due to a few weeks of experimentation and many terrible combinations … the onions and roasted Garam Masala grew the trick.

All other combinations were either too complicated for a tuna salad to make them flying, or the ingredients overwhelmed the tuna and the texture.

So continue to the tuna salad recipe.

How do you do curry tuna salad?

Note: You need a can opener for the canfish for the salad.

Take the Roman salad and wash the leaves in cold water, shake dry and put them aside. Make sure you don’t use warm or hot water. As soon as the Roman salad can dry, in bite -sized pieces. Do not use a knife. This is one of the many things I have learned from reading and watching Alton Brown over the years. When you cut the salad, it becomes brown and break the lining in the salad, which leads to the salad leaves. If you want, make the salad with a knife.

In a small pan you roast the Masala Garam over low middle heat. As soon as it is tanned, add it to a mixed bowl.

Dice an onion and also put it in the mixing shell. Don’t worry to mix it with the Masala Garam.

Open the tuna can and let off the water and scoop the entire content into the mixed bowl. Add in mayonnaise and salt. Then they mix everything together.

I like my tuna salad with a slight parts instead of a full paste, but mix the desired texture. I am sure that everyone has a different opinion here. But there they go a healthy curry -thunfish salad

Add mixed on the salad once and serve either as a page or as main services. I usually eat this tuna salad as a main course, but occasionally used it as a page for dinner.

Ingredients

  • Chunk Light Thuna – every tuna in doses is good here, but because I wanted to make this childhood friendliness, we usually choose a tuna with low mercury.
  • Mayonnaise – For mayonnaise we usually use Hellman or a vegan mayonnaise that sell farm boys. You can use the Mayo that you usually use.
  • Garam Masala – As we always mention that it is not difficult to make her Garam Masala at home. You can either try our Garam Masala recipe or a prefabricated mix in almost every grocery store.
  • Red onion – you can do this with other sweet onions, Spanish onions or even if you want a less sweet version of a yellow onion.
  • Romaine Salad – I prefer Romaine salad for these recipes, but you can easily use iceberg salad or even a prefabricated salad mix.
  • Salt – I use normal table salt, but you can also use Himalaya salt or sea salt.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of light tuna
  • 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ TL Garam Masala
  • ¼ red onion
  • 5-6 leaves Roman salad
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

Add mixed on the salad or spread them over bread or in a packaging.

Notes

If you want, you can also add chili peppers or red chilli flakes.
